Dragon Desciption: Fuego is a brute of a dragon and is big for his age, but still smaller than the older dragons. He is smart but not very clever when it comes to certain things. He usually ignores his elders wisdom and tries to find his old path instead of walking in everyone else's shadow. His temper is a very bad one and will flare up at a moments notice. His patiance is little unless he is trying to prove something. (I have worked out his character for when he hatches, justa let u know)
Past History:
Leiss was born and raised a slave for Galbatorix. Her mother's name was Lucy-Anne Havenar. Havenar was the name of their tribe back when they were desert-folk, before Leiss was born. She never knew who her father was, but guessed it was the same as most of the other slave-childrens. Only the strongest, cleverest male was allowed children, so he would end up with a few women.
Her jobs around the castle was mainly cleaning since she was of no use in the kitchen. One day while she was cleaning one of the halls, dusting all the paintings and such, she heard a conversation going on inside one of Galbatorix's luxerious dining rooms.
Leiss, being a stupid curious girl, leaned her ear against it to perhaps catch a glimpse of what was being said. She recognised a voice as being Galbatorix's. He was speaking to someone about destroying anyone who stood in his way. In a moment he mentioned a name, the name of the man he was speaking to.
Murtagh. It was Morzan's son! Murtagh, yes she had seen him a few times around the castle, but never really had a conversation with him. He was a fine-looking gentleman. Soon the conversation ended and Leiss scampered away from the door and pretended to look busy. Murtagh walked out if the room in a flurry, not even noticing Leiss.
She let her breath out in a sigh of relief, then he heard Galbatorix's voice. "Leiss..." he said in a menacing, slippery voice. Her heart felt as if it stopped beating. She was in trouble now. Dare she speak up? Or should she keep silent and hope he did not see her. "Leiss...?" He called again.
She took a breath and stepped into the doorway. Her eyes to the floor, she said, "yes my Lord?" Her heart was now beating so fast and loud that she could hear it in her head. Galbatorix smiled at her.
"Come in, slave girl. I have a few questions to ask you," Galbatorix said, motioning to step forewards with a curled up finger.
Leiss took two steps up, but kept silent. "What did you hear, child?" Galbatorix asked, walking up to her.
"No-nothing, my Lord," Leiss stammered.
He smiled, "Oh, really? Do not lie, slave. I know when someone is lying, I know everything..." Just then Leiss felt like someone had taken a fingernail and was scratching on a chalkboard inside her head. She winced and looked into Galbatorix's eyes.
"SLAVE!" Galbatorix hollered and stepped towards her. He whispered a word in an unknown language and it felt as if Leiss was being squeezed by a giant hand. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't think. The last thing she remembered before going unconcious was his cruel, menacing eyes, and his voice in her head saying, 'Leiss......'
She woke up in her bed and screamed, clutching her throat and coughing. She looked around the room, not knowing where she was. Distraught, she ran out of her quarters and right into Murtagh. He had a bag packed and looked as if he was leaving somehwere. Noticing this, Leiss begged him, "please Sir! Please take me with you! Please! I'll do anything!"
Murtagh looked doubtful, but nodded and motioned for her to follow and be quiet. Outside the castle Murtagh went with an old man on a horse, and Leiss went the opposite way on foot. She never found out what happened to them.
Eventually she ran into a group of traders who took her in as one of their own. She was taught basic mind protection by one trader, and was beginning to learn to stitch when something happened.
A friend of her's, a boy named Zachri, had stolen something from Aberon. He said that there was an armoured wagon with about 50 soldiers and apparent magic users protecting something, but what it was he didn't know. Then suddenly an explosion shattered a building and the guards rushed over to protect whatever lay in the wagon. Zachri had managed to sneak over during the attack and snatch one of the jewels, then ran. Nobody noticed until he was long gone.
Leiss offered to take it back to Aberon and same the traders' lives. She said that it was time for her to move on, anyways, so eventually they all agreed. She was given a sword, a horse and money as a thanks; then she was off.
Introduction:
Leiss kept her horse at a slow trot, anxious about what would happen. The road to Aberon started to get a little busier, and she worried about strange men who might pose a threat. She made sure her mind was well guarded, then tried to focus on the road ahead.
The wall appeared ahead with a large gate. There were three guards on duty. They stopped her and sasked her a few questions. "What is your name and your reason for being here, Miss?" Asked one portly guard as he lazily leaned on his spear.
She cleared her throat and said quietly, "Analeiss Havenar and I am here on businuess."
The guard had to strain to hear her quiet voice. "Now what kind of businuess whould a woman have here?"
After a moment of thought she said, "I am delivering a message, Sir."
He looked suspicious. "Alright, then. Off you go. Be careful, this is no friendly town."
She sighed in relief and urged her horse forewards, stopping at the neared motel.
