"Congratulations, your highness. It’s a girl." said the doctor turning to look at Alagaesia's newest proud father.
The man's face turned from pride to cunning, and his voice changed to a steely tone. "You don't know how grateful I am doctor, but surely you must know what happens now."
"I'm no-" The doctor's words were cut off as the man mumbled a short phrase. The doctor dropped straight to the ground dead.
"You will be very important, young one. You are the daughter of Galbatorix." murmured the man to his child, glowing evilly.

After the last fierce battle between the Varden and Galbatorix's army, word was sent back from an exploration team to Uden. 9 new dragon eggs had been found! The Varden sent word to Ellesmera who transmitted the message throughout its ranks for the strongest and most able of their warriors to come to Surda Immediately for an urgent issue. They were not told about the dragon eggs, for fear of Galbatorix catching word and after their allies had been sent word, they told their ranks of allied members spread off in other towns to begin recruiting worthy people for an important task. Unfortunately on the way to Surda, the exploration team was jumped by a handful of common bandits. They stole 4 eggs. 3 Of the eggs were sold to empire and one was kept by a greedy bandit. No one knows where he is or if he still has it. Another egg is simply unaccounted for and could be owned by either side.
Regardless of the theft soon thousands of Humans, dwarves (who didn't know of or understand that they were not included in the agreement between dragons, humans, and elves), and elves began trekking from their home towns to Surda. When they reached their destination their minds were to be searched and scanned. Any who refused were turned away, any who passed were given the chance to go near the dragon eggs (under close supervision of course) to see if any of the dragon eggs would hatch for them. No too long after wards the word began to leak that the warriors were being given the chance to become riders.
One year has passed since the word was sent and rumors of a new age of dragon riders have spread throughout the land. There have been reports of riders near Uru'baen, near Surda, Ellesmera, Tierm, and most every other place in the continent. It has become difficult to divulge rumor from truth any more.
Two unknown riders have revealed themselves to all of Ellesmera and the Varden. Syra Ietha and Iio. Just Iio, no one truly knows his last name. Nasuada, the Varden's leader, called them to Surda. There she told them to fly to Vroengard. A search party is over 2 weeks late and there are rumors starting that a huge wild dragon is dwelling in the area. The two Riders flew from Surda to Vroengard and saw that indeed there was a dragon in the area, but Iio recognized it from before the fall of Vrael. It was only a hatchling when he saw it but it belonged to Vrael's sister. It too recognized Iio and told him to follow him somewhere. The dragon led them to a grotto on the island. There they found Vrael's sister guarding a shrine to Vrael. It contained his sword, his armor, his dragon's armor, and a pure white marble dragon egg.
They took the items and Vrael's sister back to Surda for protection before heading back to Ellesmera. Unfortunately they were ambushed on the way past the Beors by none other than Galbatorix himself. They managed to slip away by flying over the mountains. The dwarves and a visiting rider, Eragon, provided cover fire and an unexpected battle. Eragon was killed and somehow Galbatorix was wounded with a deep gash. He tried to heal it but had been drained from the fight. He and Shrukain attempted to fly back to Uru'baen but fell somewhere in the Hadarac. Word traveled throughout Alagaesia that Eragon and Galbatorix had both fallen and that two experienced riders had been reported missing. Joy and sorrow was sent through the empire to all but a few remaining loyalties.
Until an unknown power joined the works: Galbatorix's unknown daughter Meru had taken the thrown with her 64 year old emerald dragon, Wryneck. No one knew who she was or what she was capable of. In the outrage of her father's murder she sent assassins to all the leaders of Alagaesia. Islanzadi, Orik (the new dwarven king), Nasuada, and Orrin were all reported dead the next morning. Everyone that had finally had some hope had it wrenched away from them just as suddenly.
Weeks after this injustice, Iio and Syra returned over the Beors with a miracle! A winged race called the Kreeshone with tremendous speed, power, and knowledge. They soon learned of what had happened and agreed to join the fight for the Varden.
New leaders were chosen and rules challenged. An Aranel Elensar took charge of the Varden. Doon Martyp was chosen to rule Surda. Tharon Clornik had been dubbed leader of the dwarves by Orik himself before he died. Syra decided to take the duties as queen of the elves seeing as Arya chose not to take charge.
***Present day ***
It has been 18 months from the discovery of the dragon eggs now. The Kreeshone have met with the Surdan and Varden leaders to discuss their part in the war. Their leader, Prince Serth Vyou, has agreed to become the head of an elite group of all species. It is called Du Edoc'sil and it is composed of almost all 150 Kreeshone along with assorted elves dwarves and even a few humans that are the best of the best of the best of their race and trade. They had Elven and Dwarven smiths working together on new and unique weapons. They have Elves teacing the Kreeshone magic.
Du Edoc'sil and the Kreeshone's home is a town not far from the Surdan capital or Aberon called Cenaka. It is home to all the Kreeshone, all the members of Du Edoc'sil that choose to and occasionally a vacation spot for dragon riders.
The leaders of all the different civilizations have come together and formed a rebel government. They call it the six sects. It is composed of the elves, the dwarves, Surda, the Varden, the riders, and the new kreeshone.
