Here is a description of the Kreeshone and their history: that are basically elves with wings. Tall, fair to tanned skin, high chin line. The differences are though that they have rounded ears and feathery wings that range from white to gray to black and all that is inbetween.
For hundreds of years these evolved creatures have lived in solitude in a constant war state: Always fighting each other, capturing each other, killing each other. Soon these evolved creatures began finding gold and gems which they used as a sign of their wealth. Who ever had the most wealth controlled the empire. Soon the creatures began killing each other for gold. At last; about 200 years before the fall of the riders; one empire emerged victorious. One single powerful empire controlled all the known land on their side of the Beors. They go about their lives with sacrifice and enjoyment while they harassed and tortured the remaining prisoners. Soon they grew restless with their empire. They needed to fight to show that they were still the most powerful empire in the entire world. 20 years before the fall of the riders they decided to fly over the Great Fence (the Beors) and just when they were ready to begin their plight of new lands... A terrifying disease hit killing most of their population. About one hundred years ago their bodies began adapting to the disease with the help of an herb in a valley near their Empire (or what was left of it) but at a terrible cost. They could not spread life. Their population would never grow only decline. The herb made a chemical reaction in their blood that when they die life would begin again for them at the age of 8 but only if the body was pure. Meaning if a Kreeshone died of sickness or in battle its life would not be regained. They no longer had the will to traverse the Great Fence for fear of its mystical powers sending more evils. They lived on as peacefully as a population of no more than 250 could, until a 'chosen one' broke through the divide.
Ten years ago an elf lost and abandoned some how found his way around the Beors trying to find Du Weldenvarden. He found the Kreeshone and learned of their ways as a prisoner. He began teaching them ways of new technologies, of life, of morals. 3 months later he left again for Du Weldenvarden. There he started rumors but his credibility had already been questioned before and none believed his story or wanted to risk an expedition beyond the Beors based on his stories.
Meanwhile in the capital of the Kreeshonian empire new leaders, idealists, and overall ideas were forming. Exploration, expansion, trade, generosity, research, and many others. They were beginning to become a civilized people. But not all took to the change; they believed in the old ways, their planning and plotting had led them to victory and wealth. The saviors would now arrive and bring forth their people. Two elven riders retreated over the Great Fence to find the winged people. They saw them as an advantage and a risk. They sought a meeting with their leaders and asked for them to follow them, their guides; over the Great Fence. The king refused but his eldest son, Serth Vyou agreed and persuaded his father to let the people make their own individual choice.
