Town of Origin: Sílthrim

Description: Ladea is very beautiful, and not just because she is an elf. She has sandy color blonde hair of medium length that reaches just down past her shoulders, which were round and normal sized for an elven lady. Her hair was very shiny, and had multiple very small, tight braids in it that hang in front of her face. Her hair is the color of sand, or a dark blonde, or extremely light brown. She looks as though she is but 19 years old, and is very tall for a woman. Her eyes are the most noticeable thing of her, as they are a light lavender color that are very soft and loving, and almost always look gleeful. She has thin eyebrows that curve up naturally with her face, and look very seditious. He nose is small and is nothing out of the norm. Her bottom lip is bigger then her top, which has a distinct curve to it, like her eyebrows. She has fair skin, and only one scar, which lines her back, from her shoulder to about mid back, but is light and flush with her skin. Her face slants down to her chin, which is round, but defiant. Her pointed ears, like all elves, usually stick out of her hair, and there is no hiding them. She is very beautiful, her looks surpassing that of all the human women, and most of the elven women. Her personality is one that is distinctive too, as she feels that most, if not all, humans are inferior to elves. She believes that humans should not be able to become Riders, as that is wasting a seat of great power on someone who is so weak. She is very arrogant, and uses her good looks to her advantage allot, which many men fall for. She is very graceful and fluid with her movements, no matter what happens, and though she is hard under the surface, she is very delicate and lady like when in the presence of people with stature. She is a very skilled warrior with her twin swords, and can defeat many elven men and women at once. She is arguably the most skilled swordswoman in Sílthrim, and considering her age, this is an accomplishment for the record books. Her two swords, forged many years ago by the most excellent blacksmith of his era, are but extensions of her hands, and sharp enough to chop off a limb with but the littlest of effort. They never dull or scratch, as most elven made swords are. They are long, and each one is exactly identical to the other. They have a leather handle, though they do not have any imprints or marks on them. The sword are silver, and very shiny. She has no shield, as her two swords, when crossed like an X, act as her shield. She has a suit of armor that moves with her, but is of no particular importance or value. She is very skinny, and has no fat at all. She has barely any muscle, however, so, as excellent of swords fighter that she is, she cannot lift much, and would be useless to have her do any physical work, as she has never had to do any. Her fingernails are kept clear, and are clipped if they pass more then a centimeter past her fingertip. She hates authority that she feels does not deserve it, and will ignore you if you don't treat her with respect, though she won't usually show it in return, unless she is in the presence of others.
Clothes: Ladea wears a sleeveless shirt that is tan, as all her clothes are tan. She knows not what it is made of, as she doesn’t care. Her pants are made of the same material, whatever it may be, and they are capri’s, meaning then comedown to her shins. They have a dark brown stripe that goes down the side of them, and she wears sandals, a mere cloth that goes between her biggest toe and the one next to it, that straps to a hard leather bottom.
Reason of Character?: Ladea is an elven lady, so she is very classy and particular, yet, being an elven woman, she also fights in wars alongside men. She is an excellent fighter, and having dedicated all her time into her sword skills, she has almost abandoned her ability with magic, and so can only perform small spells without being exhausted. She is at the training fields most of her free time. She supports the Varden and the Elves in every way she can. She is prepared to leave for Surda and to defeat the empire, but knows that the time she is anxious for is months, if not years, away.
Past: Ladea was born in Sílthrim, to both parents. They had just sang a new house, and were proud to welcome the baby to it. Even then, everyone that saw her were surprised to she her beauty and lavender eyes. She grew up a well enough life. Her father was a general in the Elven army, and though they hadn’t had a war for a very long time, they army still trained weekly, and her father thusly was in very good physical and mental shape. He started making her practice with twin swords at a very young age, determined not to have a weak, futile daughter, as he had always wanted a son that he could pass on his love for training to. So, everyday, Ladea practiced with mini swords, determined to prove to her father that she could live up to any reputation he had planned on for his son.
Her mother had wanted a daughter that she could doll up, and dress up in beautiful dresses, and twirl her hair, and teach her how to be delicate, swift, and graceful. She, there Ladea learned how to be graceful and fluid in all her moves. So, receiving the best of both ends, she became a very powerful, skillful warrior. She grew up in the wealthy section of Sílthrim, though she wasn’t at all extremely wealthy. She went to the training grounds every day, and could very rarely be beaten.
Ladea challeneged many people at the training grounds, losing to only two people. The first, a male elf slighty older then her, and the other, and old man. He had a long, white beard that came to his waist, and white robes. She challenged him, knowing he was the most skillful swordsmaster in Silthrim, thinking if she bested him, she would claim his title. She was over confident and lost, and gained a permanent reminder of the fight, a long scar on her back.
"Swordplay is not all about power and skillful moves. you need to feel it, sense it." He told her before turning on her, bent on her knees shivering in pain of the gash he put across her back. She let it heal naturally, and since then has been refined in swordsplay, and only fights when in danger or needed.
Introduction: Ladea twisted with grace, and in her twist she bent. She brought one of her swords up in a sweeping motion, as the other sword stabbed the ground, giving her balance. The warrior she was attacking tried to step back, but was to late. The sword dig into his leggings and followed until the chest plate. Pushing the sword that was stabbing the ground, she got back onto her feet, and in one swirl with her swords held out, she made a tornado effect, and stopped, then stabbed with one sword, while holding the other sword in front of her in case she had to block. The man took the blow to the chest, but in return, swung his sword to hit her side. She put on of her swords to block it, and with the other, she hit his side. After that, the battle ended, and Ladea had won. She left the training fields and went back to her house. She ate some fresh fruit, and then took a short nap.
She awoke to the sound of chirping birds, but when she looked outside, it was dark. She had just recently moved from her parent’s house, and was unaccustomed to her dark, unwelcoming house. She put her twin swords on her back, and went outside. She went for a walk in the woods, and admired to dark beauty of the trees and animals. She shut her eyes and reached out with her mind to feel all the living creatures that dwell in the night. Though she couldn’t perform spells very good, she could protect her mind and was well enough in offensive mental attacks. She felt the animals, and could sense their energy. Not many people could in fact reach out to many things at once, but she had taught herself, one of the only things she could do with her mind that she could say she was skilled in. That, and the storing of energy into a stone or gem, which she did every now and then when she remembered. She opened her eyes when she heard a rustle in the bushes. She saw something moving, and she knew that it was moving away toward the path she was walking on, only about 20 feet up. She stopped and reached out with her mind. She could feel its presence, but its intentions and aura were hidden from her. She withdrew her swords silently, and then slowly started walking forward cautiously.
Dry leaves crunched under her feet, and a cool gust of wind rustled the tree tops and sent a shiver down her spine. Here is where it would be good to be skilled in archery, but she wasn’t.
“How are you and why are you wandering the forests at night?” Ladea called out to the dark object that was no visibly on the path.
“Who is it that calls to me in such a manner?” Yelled the voice back, a definite male.
“Only fools wander these forests at night. So why do you? My name is not important.” She called out, not frightened at all, still progressing forth. “If I reach you and you haven’t given me a reason to spare your life, I will have to kill you.” She said arrogantly, swing her swords very fast in intricate patterns, knowing he could see the glint of her blades.
“Is that so? Well, I cannot tell you my name, nor can I die tonight, so the only thing to say is…” He said, pulling off his hood so just a head of bright blonde hair could be seen. “Goodbye.” He said. Ladea dashed forward, but she was to late, the man had ran to the side and now was lost in the dark maze of trees and shrubs. She was very curious as to who she just met, but this was not so rare of an accurance. She had met figures like this before, and possibly even the same guy. She turned and started to walk home, pondering this occurrence as to the others. This time he actually spoke back, as the others he just darted off without saying anything. She made it back to her house, which over looked Ardwen, a huge lake that many people enjoyed swimming and canoeing in. She went inside and continued her sleep, knowing the morning would be just the same as this day had been, except maybe the mysterious man wouldn’t make an appearance on her nightly walk.
Ladea had her lavender eyes open as she swam through Arden. She was out so far that she could hardly see the town. She stopped and caought her breath, the water very chilly. She pushed her hair out of her face and looked around. usually, she didn;t swim this far out. She started swimming again, heading back to the city. She got to the beach, and wrapped a towel around her and sat there, admiring the beauty of the setting sun over the lake, giving the water a red and orange reflection. She staretdd at the water, the slow waves breaking upon the sandy shore. She laid back and looked up at the sky, the stars just now becoming visible. She closed her eyes, listening to the break of waves and gusts of wind.
She awoke with a start to find that she had fallen asleep. Her hair was dry, and she still had the towel wrapped around her. She got up, and looked around. It was dark
'How do I always ebd up outside when it is dark?' She asked herself in her thoughts. She didn;t have her twin swords, so she felt unprotected. Though the elven cities were beautiful and held the most powerful race in Alagaesia, except maybe the dragons, trouble was still found there at night, maybe even more so then a petty human city. She walked at a brisk pace, trying to get back to her house before anything noticed her. She could fight with her fists, but she wouldn't stand a chance. Her house came into veiw. She felt relieved. 'I'm not to brave when I don't have my swords with me, hehe.' She thought to herself as she closed the door to her house. She went upstairs and went to bed immediatly.
